Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met by our airport staff and your assigned guide who will escort you throughout your stay with us. You will be transferred to Negombo (approximate travel time – 40 minutes’ drive). Check-in at the hotel and relax.

After breakfast at the hotel, checkout and proceed to Dambulla (approximate travel time – three hours’ drive). Check in to the hotel and relax.

Early morning after breakfast, proceed to climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Sigiriya is an enormous rock boulder rising up 200 meters above the surrounding jungle. Built by King Kassyapa I in the fifth century, it served as a royal citadel for more than 18 years. Admire the mirror wall, the Sigiri graffiti, the famous Sigiriya frescoes, and the great lion paws as you climb. At the summit, enjoy the unparalleled 360-degree view of the surrounding jungle and hills. Return to the hotel. Early afternoon, visit a farmer's place for a Sri Lankan culinary experience followed by a rice and curry lunch. In the evening, take a walk inside the massive vegetable market in Dambulla.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Polonnaruwa (approximate travel time – one hour and 30 minutes’ drive) and enjoy a city tour by bicycle. Polonnaruwa, the second kingdom of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasts an interesting blend of archaeological monuments, including the famous Gal Viharaya (Rock Temple) with four colossal statues of the Buddha. Return to the hotel and relax.

After breakfast at the hotel, checkout and proceed to visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a vast cave complex converted into a rock temple with the largest collection of paintings in Sri Lanka. Proceed to Matale (approximate travel time – one hour and 20 minutes’ drive) to visit the Spice Garden. Continue your drive to Kandy (approximate travel time – one hour drive). Check in to the hotel and relax. In the late evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important temples for Buddhists.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Peradeniya (approximate travel time – 30 minutes’ drive) to visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, the largest botanical garden on the island with over 4,000 species of plants. Return to the hotel and relax. In the late evening, attend a Cultural Dance Show in Kandy.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Nanu Oya railway station (approximate travel time – three hours’ drive) to board the train bound to the hill station of Bandarawela. This scenic railway journey through the highlands of Sri Lanka takes around two and a half hours. Your guide will pick you up at Bandarawela railway station and transfer you to your hotel. Check in and relax.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Makulella (approximate travel time – 20 minutes’ drive) and enjoy a hike at The Pekoe Trail stage 15. This stage begins at a Buddhist temple in Makulella and passes through forested areas, tea bushes, and eucalyptus forests, with stunning views of Ella Rock, Ella Gap, and Little Adam’s Peak. Continue to Ella Train Station and visit the 9 Arch Bridge. Return to the hotel and relax.

Visit the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple, the Pettah bazaar area, the Old Parliament complex, and other notable sites. Check in to the hotel and relax.
