Take the road to the city of silk and sandalwood. Mysore still has the royal touch with palaces that are more beautiful than anything you have seen. On the way sing with the birds at the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Start your brush with royalty at Tipu’s Summer Palace.
See the Mysore Palace with wide-eyed admiration as you see one of finest palaces in India. See the huge bull at Chamundi hills and take the Goddess’ blessings. Wind down at your rooms or explore local markets for some nice silk sarees and pure sandalwood powders and incense sticks.
