Introduction

Arrive at the most modern city in Kerala and watch the enthralling performance of Kerala’s own special dance the Kathakali. Watch the story unfold in gestures and moves. Believe it or not, they are not wearing masks, it is all make-up on their faces.
Explore the commercial capital. See the beautiful Ramayana murals on the walls of the Dutch Palace. See the oldest European church in India. Marvel the magnificence of the Jewish Synagogue. Watch the Chinese fishing nets dip into the sea and bring up hundreds of fishes. Sea the sun dip into the Arabian Sea as the streets light up for yet another busy evening.
Drive up to Munnar through the winding roads as you watch the areca palms swing in the winds. Walk through Tea plants and visit the tea museum. See the Maduppetty dam and shop for some good tea and other artifacts.
The driver from Munnar to Periyar is a pleasure with mild weather and beautiful scenery all the way. Visit the spice farm as the wildlife sanctuary town and do some spice shopping.
Capture some family photos of elephants and bison as they frolic in the waters of the lake. Try your hand at some nature photography as the boat chugs along on the surface of the lake. Catch the Kingfisher as it comes swooping down for breakfast. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the forest.
